wake is a Mac menu bar app that keeps a MacBook awake after its lid is closed, and wake.calmapps.com is the site from which you download it and its updates. This page says what the app and the site do with information about you, which is very little.
The app
wake has no account, no sign-in and no settings beyond its one switch. It keeps nothing about you. It reads whether the lid is closed and whether sleep is disabled, from your Mac, and writes nothing anywhere but a small file on your Mac that tells its helper to keep going.
The only connection the app makes is to this site, to check whether a newer version is available, through Sparkle. That check sends the usual request a browser would, and nothing about you. You can turn automatic checks off in the dialog Sparkle shows.
The site
The site has no accounts and sets no cookies. Its server keeps the usual access logs, with the address a request came from and what was asked for, for a short time, to keep the site running. Nothing is shared with anybody, and no analytics service is used.
Questions
wake is made by calmapps. Its source is on GitHub, where a question or a problem can be raised as an issue.
